Hi-Alta, now Western Financial Group, was established as a junior capital pool corporation listed on the Alberta Stock Exchange. It delivers insurance and other financial products to rural citizens. The logo was developed on what Albertans are surrounded by:  blue skies, the Rocky Mountains, rolling hills, and golden wheat fields. Fresh and alive this logo gives a feeling of possibilities and the freedom to go your own way. This logo won a Summit Award in the United States.
