Negative Japan

Negative Japan

While traveling through Japan in 2005, I shot some images in negative form. The final product was quite similar to Japanese paintings of old. Seeing images in a different way can spark new approaches to old concepts.

I particularly like images in negative form. It is very similar in creating images in black and white. You see things that you never saw before. New shapes and patterns are observed, and photos abstract qualities are brought to the forefront.
